Bramwell Tovey conducts Tchaikovsky’s quintessential work featuring melodies inspired by his Russian musical heritage, as well as his own romantic trials. This is paired with two works by British composers who, inspired by the history of the English and Italian country sides, translate the past into their own epic, late-Romantic orchestral style.
